The company has successfully earned a leading position in India’s power transmission and distribution sector.
Diamond Power Infrastructure has been delivering products with core competency, since inception. Started as an ACSR conductor manufacturing facilitator, it is now the only integrated manufacturer of power transmission equipment and turnkey services provider (EPC) in India.
Giving an account of their manufacturing facilities, Amit Bhatnagar informed that the business covers nearly 80 per cent of Transmission and Distribution (T&D) infrastructural requirements across India. It deals in state-of-the-art facilities, including – flexible wires & cables, power & control cables, conductors, power & distribution transformers and transmission towers.
It has a wide range of cables, which are preferred by various utilities like refineries, cement plants, power plants, etc. Believing in the notion: ‘Leadership through innovation, Partnership through trust’, DICABS is ranked amongst the top five power cable manufactures in India.
Its transformer division is a merger of Western Transformers and Apex Transformers. This combination offers over four decades of manufacturing and technical excellence.

Amit Bhatnagar, Managing Director (DICABS), says that these towers are designed to withstand the most severe conditions. Undoubtedly, their transmission towers are delivering power efficiently and are empowering in every corner of India.
The equipment suppliers of Diamond Power Infrastructure include various global leaders. It has also established India’s first ‘Horizontal Lead Extruder System’ and ‘Aluminium Corrugation Sheathing Line’ for cables.
Along with conceptualizing, the company plans, designs, procures and takes charge of erection and commissioning. Its core focus area is high voltage and extra high voltage transmission line projects. Services of the enterprise include both rural and urban electrification and distribution projects.
Amit Bhatnagar says that turnkey projects in Transmission & Distribution sector have been the key players in growth of the business. As the MD, he is satisfied that the firm is attaining a powerful position. Moreover, they are expanding their operations in the international market, aiming to increase the revenue over the next decade.
