On the bowling front, Mumbai Indians have got the cushion of two spinners in Rahul Chahar and Krunal Pandya to stem the flow of runs and let Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult run ragged. There is Hardik Pandya and Coulter-Nile as well to offer versatility in the bowling department.
For Delhi Capitals, Shikhar Dhawan has come good at the top, with Marcus Stoinis impressing with his first outing at the top. The failure of Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Panth though has been a worry for Delhi Capitals. However, Shimron Hetmyer has brought some relief to the dressing room with his power hitting in the middle. Another major plus point has been the inclusion of Axar Patel, as the all-rounder has made some decent contributions off late.
The bowling has been top-notch from Delhi Capitals with Kagiso Rabada, Ravi Ashwin and Anrich Nortje shining on numerous occasions to bail the team out from precarious situations. It will be important to see whether the finalists can play their ‘A’ game on the day to unsettle Mumbai Indians.
